Postmoderndisco is on a mission to bring listeners on a journey to a different place in time. The music is ethereal, cinematic, and tinged with nostalgia. What started as a solo instrumental project by Toronto producer/composer Mandy Woo is now a female trio consisting of frequent collaborators Esther Khew on French horn and Pop R&B vocalist/lyricist Jennah B. As a 2nd generation Chinese-Canadian, Mandy explores identity as a part of the Chinese diaspora by drawing from the sounds of her heritage and upbringing and investigating these juktapositions with postmoderndisco.
